Perfect Sunday Morning + 0.083 BFR

Absolutely gorgeous morning. Decided to run the first leg of the planned BFR49. Five miler to Zeke's Coffee on Harford Road in the Hamilton-Lauraville Neighborhood. Route ran generally southeast, winding around Chinquapin Run Park. Weather was perfect, in the 50s a bit overcast at first but then to a bluebird day.

Arrived in less than an hour. Got a red eye and a chocolate chip rugelach. They were both delicious. Found an inside-outside spot in the corner. Perfect context to read a bit in the book I brought, Rebecca Solnit's A Field Guide to Getting Lost.

I'm not that far in but it is excellent. Thought provoking. Must be the season I'm in.

The openning of the chapter struck me immediately.

The world is blue at its edges and in its depths. This blue is the light that got lost.

—Rebecca Solnit, A Field Guide to Getting Lost

There follows just lovely prose. Blue the color of mountains in the distance. Blue a color of a place never reached. And so on...

A mention of cyantypes I couldn't resist.

On the way back listened to Radiohead which I haven't done in a long time. Instead of following Chinquapin Run Park on the road on the way back I ran down a "path" I saw on the way out. Found trail. Not really trail. #AllTerrainRunning. Perfection again.

This segment is definately viable for BFR49 when I do run it. Also set the hook for a better way to spend Sunday mornings. Intentional Running. How many coffee shops are in a five mile radius?
