Running Where There Is No Trail

There is are fairly substantial chunks of undeveloped woods around my normal running routes. Finally decided to go off road and run through one of those woods. No trails. Spooked a gang of bedded deer. Followed the herd trail through the tangle of fallen trees and brush. Amazing how fluidly they move through that landscape. How plodding it is for me without a trail. Good fun.

Time to make a trail?
